June output falls 13.8%.(Production data of Motor vehicles)(Brief article)

In June, North America light-vehicle production fell to 1,214,154 units, down 13.8 percent from June 2007. The last time June production fell below 1.3 million units was 1998.

This June, U.S. car production fell 6.3 percent; Canada car output fell 15.6 percent; Mexico car output fell 6.1 percent; and North America car output fell 8.3 percent.

U.S. truck output fell 23.1 percent; Canada truck output rose 5.3 percent; Mexico truck production was down 0.4 percent; and North America truck production fell 18.1 percent.

U.S. light-vehicle output was down 17.1 percent; Canada output fell 7.4 percent, and Mexico production fell 4.1 percent.
