Ten: Federer, Serena out of Olympics singles

The Olympic tennis tournament has seen two major upsets in singles quarter-finals tonight.

World No.1 and top seed ROGER FEDERER suffered a 6-4 7-6 (7-2) defeat at the hands
of JAMES BLAKE, the American eighth seed who has lost all previous eight encounters with
the long-time world number one.

And in the women's draw, SERENA WILLIAMS' bid for a first Olympic singles gold medal
is over after she lost 6-3 4-6 6-3 to Russian fifth seed ELENA DEMENTIEVA.
