NSW: Man dies after car leaves M4 and hits tree
SYDNEY, Dec 3 AAP - A man has died after his car veered off a motorway into a tree
in western Sydney.
NRMA CareFlight said the 41-year-old man, from Faulconbridge, west of Sydney, died
after his car left the M4 at Prospect and hit a tree at about 1pm (AEDT) today.
The man was freed from the wreckage of the car and taken to Westmead Hospital but was
pronounced dead on arrival.
The man appeared to have suffered a heart attack, which caused him to lose control
of the vehicle.
Westbound lanes of the M4 were temporarily closed to allow the NRMA CareFlight helicopter
to land.
